Malaria Day and here is our poem to commemorate the day: (Acknowledgement: Uzor
Euzor Clever).
Malaria
Malaria is in my area and your area.
Wherever there is Mosquito,
There is Malaria.
And it doesn’t matter the area,
There is Malaria everywhere.
I travelled from Nigeria
To Algeria and Bulgaria
To escape from Malaria.
And as I moved from here to there,
I discovered there is
Malaria everywhere.
Malaria bu ajo oria.
If you doubt go and ask Victoria
Gloria Or Cordelia.
Worse than Gonorrhea,
Diarrhea and Pneumonia.
Malaria is more deadly
Than Fungi and
Bacteria.
I pray to God to save me,
My area and the whole of Nigeria
From the hands of Malaria
Maka na Malaria bu ajo oria.
